PURPOSE: An apparatus for increasing the calorific value of gas is provided to increase the calorific value of gas by removing carbon dioxide and nitrogen from the gas using desulfurization slag and absorbent. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for increasing the calorific value of gas comprises a carbon dioxide removing unit(110) and a nitrogen removing unit(120). The carbon dioxide removing unit removes carbon dioxide from inlet gas(10) using desulfurization slag. The nitrogen removing unit is arranged in the downstream or upstream of the carbon dioxide removing unit and removes nitrogen from the inlet gas.
