METHOD OF PROCESSING SIGNAL IN MULTIBAND DIGITAL REPEATER

PURPOSE: A method for processing a signal in a multiband digital relay device is provided to reduce the numbers of ADCs and DACs of a frequency up-converting unit and a frequency down-converting unit using repetition features of digital signals. CONSTITUTION: A downstream frequency down-converting unit(22) down-converts the frequencies of first and second band signals. A downstream ADC(Analog to Digital Converter)(40) converts analog signals received from the downstream frequency down-converting unit into digital signals. A digital transmitting unit(60) transmits output signals of the downstream ADC to a cable(70). An upstream DAC(Digital to Analog Converter)(50) converts the digital signals into the analog signals. An upstream frequency up-converting unit(32) up-converts the frequencies of the first and second band signals.
