<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass run for an automobile certainly suppressing vibration of a door glass at low cost without particularly increasing weight. <P>SOLUTION: The door glass run for the automobile is provided with an outdoor side wall part 12, a bottom wall part 11 and an indoor side wall part 13 for forming a groove part M of an approximate U shape cross section for guiding a door glass G, an outer lip 14 and an inner lip 15. A distance L2 of a base part of the inner lip 15 to a bottom wall part 11 is set longer than a distance L1 of a base part of the outer lip 14 to the bottom wall part 11. On the outdoor side wall part 12 at slide-contact with the door glass G, a bulk-like first high foaming sponge material 21 is provided such that it is resiliently contacted with a back surface side of the outer lip 14 and a space P1 is ensured at an inner side of the base part of the outer lip 14 at resilient contact. On the indoor side wall part 13 at slide-contact with the door glass G, a bulk-like second high foaming sponge material 22 is provided such that it is resiliently contacted with a back surface side of the inner lip 15 and a space P2 is ensured at an inner side of the base part of the inner lip 15 at resilient contact. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
