PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the piping structures of a first and second fuel cell stacks arranged in parallel with each other and to effectively reduce their height. SOLUTION: Oxidizer gas feeding/exhausting passages 138a, fuel gas feeding/ exhausting passages 138b and cooling medium feeding/exhausting passages 138c are formed symmetrically with each other in a first and second fuel cell stacks 12, 14, and oxidizer gas entrances 120a, fuel gas entrances 122a, oxidizer gas exits 120b and fuel gas exits 122b are so formed on the same vertical surface of the first and second fuel cell stacks 12, 14 as to be positioned on the upper and lower sides at both their lateral ends, and cooling medium feeding ports 216 and cooling medium exhausting ports 132 are so formed as to be positioned in their inwards in the vertical and horizontal directions. |
