Method for producing bactericidal, anti-odor footwear in which the inner face (2) of a breathable footwear lining (1) is covered with a bactericidal, anti-odor substance (3) that contains active charcoal and then the lining (1) is affixed to the inside of the footwear. Said method gives rise to bactericidal, anti-odor footwear that has a breathable lining (1) with a bactericidal, anti-odor substance formed by active carbon on the inner face thereof.
