A fluid flow control device comprises a fluid inlet 5 connected to the outlet of a mixer valve or to a heated fluid supply line valve capable of selectively delivering a pressurized heated fluid supply. A fluid outlet 7 is connected to a fluid dispenser and a through pipe 9 connects the fluid inlet 5 and outlet 7 via a valve system 17. A reservoir 11 contains a fluid level device 19. The valve system 17 in use prevents the flow of fluid from the through pipe 9 through the fluid outlet 7, so that fluid entering through the fluid inlet 5 flows into the reservoir 11 via a reservoir inlet 13 in the through pipe 9, until the fluid in the reservoir 11 reaches a predetermined level, whereupon the fluid level device 19 operates the valve system 17 to allow the flow of fluid through the fluid outlet 7.
