<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for purifying an arsenic solution, in order to drastically reduce the content of mercury and lead contained as impurities in the arsenic solution. <P>SOLUTION: A method for purifying an arsenic solution, where metal sulfide, such as copper sulfide and lead sulfide, is brought into contact with an arsenic solution (a solution to be treated) containing mercury as an impurity to allow the mercury to be incorporated into the metal sulfide and recovered as a solid content, is provided. Further, a method for purifying an arsenic solution, where strontium carbonate is added to an arsenic solution (a solution to be treated) containing lead as an impurity and they are stirred to form precipitates containing strontium and lead and recover the lead as a solid content, is also provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
