The device has a slide rack (2) that is arranged at longitudinal side and has a retainer for a container (6). A counter-holding element (8) is provided for the container that is accommodated in the retainer. The counter holding element has a counter holding surface, which runs in transporting direction (X). The slide rack is connected with two drives by two articulated systems (10).
