The hub bearing-hub carrier unit (1) has an axis (A) of rotation and is provided with a hub (6) inserted in a hub carrier (2), preferably, of aluminium so as to rotate relative to the hub carrier (2) via two preloaded rolling bearings (7). The bearings (7) are kept a predetermined axial distance (D) apart and are housed in corresponding seats (4) in the hub carrier (2). The outside surfaces (72a) of the bearings (7) and the inside surfaces (4a) of the seats (4) are conical surfaces inclined with respect to the axis (A) of rotation in the opposite direction to a load line (L) of the bearings (7). |
