An adjustable bracket arm for electric lamps and other articles comprises an arm 3 with a curved lower portion 2 surrounded by a helically formed covering 6 which passes through a collar 9 provided with a pair of inwardly directed flanges 10, 11. The collar is located within a bore in a support 13. In any selected position the edge of the flange will engage in the convolutions and the leverage caused by the weight of the arm will hold the parts in position. Notched grooves or corrugations may replace the helically formed covering. The electric wire is held in position by a clip 19. |
