METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SELECTING RDF TRIPLE USING VECTOR SPACE MODEL

PURPOSE: An RDF(Resource Description Framework) triple selection method using a vector space model and apparatus thereof are provided to promote the completeness of a pattern matching result by discovering high association RDF triples. CONSTITUTION: A query analysis unit(222) extracts keywords from a query document. A virtual document creation unit(224) creates a virtual document including a subject sentence, a description sentence, and a purpose sentence for an RDF triple. A similarity determination unit(226) determines similarity between virtual documents and the keyword according to angle between the vectorized keyword and the virtual document by vectorizing the keyword and the virtual documents using a vector space model. A virtual document selection unit(228) selects the virtual documents related to the key word based on the determination result of the similarity.
