PURPOSE: A tidal current power generator is provided to generate electricity with a simple structure as an armature facing a permanent magnet produces the electricity. CONSTITUTION: A tidal current power generator comprises a housing(110), a turbine unit(120), and an armature(130). The turbine unit comprises a hub(121), a plurality of blades(123), and a ring-shaped permanent magnet(125). The hub is placed inside the housing. One end of the blade is connected to an outer surface of the hub. An inner surface of the permanent magnet is connected to the other end of the blade, and supports the blade. The outer surface of the permanent magnet is supported to the inner surface of the housing. The turbine unit is rotated by the flow of seawater. The armature comprises a core(131) and a coil(135). The core faces the permanent magnet, and is wound around the core. The armature and the permanent magnet generate electricity.
