<p>PURPOSE: A molten iron refining method ensuring high sulfur removal efficiency is provided to use molten steel to steel plates for a vehicle without changes in the kind of steel by reducing the content of sulfur to 0.006wt.% or less. CONSTITUTION: A molten iron refining method comprises the steps of: removing 95wt.% or more of slag remaining in a converter, charging scrap iron and hot metal, starting first refining and putting Na-based devulcanizing agent quicklime put into the converter, finishing the first refining when the content of slag in iron oxide reaches 25-28wt.%, arranging slag in a slag pot, implementing second refining, and putting Na-based desulfurizing agent into the molten metal and refining the molten metal.</p> |
