PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of ethylene and propylene is provided to manufacture ethylene and propylene by contact-decomposing zeolite ZSM-% from C5 raffinate, and to maximize generation of ethylene and propylene by increasing specific surface area and porous volume by treating zeolite ZSM-5. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of ethylene and propylene comprises a step of catalyst-contact-decomposing a hydrocarbon mixture. The hydrocarbon mixture is C5 raffinate, and the catalyst is zolite ZSM-5. The C5- raffinate is as a C4-7 hydro carbon mixture, and comprises 10 mol% or more of one or more selected from a group consisting of pentane, isopentane, pentene, isopentene, cyclopentane, isoprene, piperylene, and cyclopentadiene. |
