PURPOSE: A device for recording and reproducing an event generation time and a method thereof are provided to record and reproduce an event generation time based on an instruction counter and a program counter provided from hardware. CONSTITUTION: When an event(100) is generated, an event recording unit(120) generates event record information including a program counter and an instruction counter. The program counter points a location of an instruction for a program. The instruction counter stores the number of time a processor performs the instruction. An event reproducing unit(160) emulates the event based on the event record information.
