PURPOSE: A foreign material removing device for a belt conveyor is provided to improve work productivity by discharging foreign materials to the outside of a belt conveyor through a discharge guiding part after the foreign materials stuck on the exterior of a roller is removed by a blade part. CONSTITUTION: A foreign material removing device for a belt conveyor(1) comprise a blade part(15), an angle adjusting part(20), and a distance adjusting part(40). The blade part removes foreign materials stuck on the exterior of a roller(10). The angle adjusting part rotates the blade part to adjust installation angles. The distance adjusting part moves the angle adjusting part to adjust a gap between the blade part and the roller. The angle adjusting part comprises a rotating bar(22), a rotating support part(30), and a fixing member(26).
