PURPOSE: A method for producing water for cooking food from deep sea water is provided to desalinate deep sea water containing useful minerals to obtain the hygienically safe water for cooking. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing water for cooking food from deep sea water comprises the following steps: collecting the deep sea water, and heating the deep sea water at 20-30 deg Celcius before filtering; firstly desalinating the filtered deep sea water using an electrodialysis process, an electro extraction process, or a freezing process to obtain desalinated water; processing the desalinated water with alkali having the pH of 9-11, and processing the desalinated water with a reverse osmosis filtering process to obtain filtered water without boron compounds; and adjusting the pH of the filtered water to 5.8-8.5, and adding a mineral mediator to adjust the hardness of the water to 50-1,000mg/L.
