HUMAN CYTOMEGALOVIRUS NEUTRALISING ANTIBODIES AND USE THEREOF

Provided is an isolated antibody that is specific for a combination of hCMV proteins UL 128, UL 130 and UL131A and inhibits infection of endothelial cells, retinal cells, or dendritic cells by human cytomegalovirus (hCMV). The specific antibody sequences are defined and vectors and transformed cells to produce the antibodies are claimed. The antibodies can be used to treat hCMV infection.
