LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE AND METHOD OF DRIVING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device and a driving method thereof are provided to reduce sound noise generated from a capacitor by reducing the load of a liquid crystal panel due to sudden changes of consumption current. CONSTITUTION: The absolute value of the difference between a data voltage(Vdata) and a common voltage(Vcom) corresponding to a white stripe is lower than the absolute value of the difference value between a data voltage and a common voltage corresponding to a black strip. The data voltage of the white strip is generated by using the lowest grayscale voltage in a TN mode. The data voltage of the black strip is generated by using the highest grayscale voltage.
