<p>The sectional door comprises a compensated curtain (4) and a means for driving this curtain comprising in particular a vertical endless chain (54) tensioned between two pinions (52), (53). The chain, secured to the curtain (4), engages with a pinion (55) which is coupled by a clutch to a drive motor (50) installed at a person's height. The mechanical connection (8) between the chain (54) and the curtain (4) is such that it induces a delay time in the upward drive of the curtain from its locked bottom position. This results in an empty travel of the chain. During this travel, an unlocking action is applied by the drive means (5) to a mechanism for locking the curtain in the bottom position. The mechanical connection (8) is guided by a backstop (30) adjoining the guide rail (31) of the curtain and said connection is secured to the lower panel (40) of the curtain by an articulation of axis BB'.</p> |
