Invention herewith described refers to the solid fuel heating appliance with external air intake for combustion for setting in apartments. The ash pit under the grid (3) for holding ashes is closed and has the door for the ashtray cleaning which opens only for cleaning. In the ash pit (3) there is an opening with the attachment. The channel (2) for the supply of fresh outside air for combustion is by the attachment through the opening connected to the ash pit (3) and thus is prevented the intake of the air needed for combustion from the very room in which the heating appliance is located.
