摘要 <p>An intermittent cutting transferring device configured to cut a first web 10A into individual sheets 10 and to intermittently transfer the individual sheets 10 onto a continuously fed second web 20, comprises an upper blade roll 30 which has a blade 32 on an outer peripheral surface, and a lower blade roll 40 with an anvil on an outer peripheral surface and a plurality of suction holes 43. The upper blade roll 30 and the lower blade roll 40 are rotatable in opposite roll rotating directions at approximately the same peripheral velocity which is higher than a velocity in which the first web 10A is fed to the lower blade roll, and equal to or lower than a feeding velocity of the second web 20. The blade and the anvil are configured to guide the first web 10A there between while the first web 10A is being sucked onto the outer peripheral surface of the lower blade roll 40 by suction through the plurality of suction holes formed in a first region of the outer peripheral surface of the lower blade roll. The blade and the anvil are adapted to be brought into contact with each other to intermittently cut the first web 10A into the individual sheets 10. Each of the individual sheets cut from the first web 10A is arranged to be guided and transferred onto the second web 20 while the sheet is being sucked onto the outer peripheral surface of the lower blade roll 40 by suction through the suction holes 43 formed in a second region on the outer peripheral surface of the lower blade roll 40. The first region includes a suction region in which the plurality of the suction holes are formed and a non-suction region free of the suction holes. The suction region and the non-suction region are provided alternately in the roll rotating direction of the lower blade roll 40. The closest distance between adjacent suction holes in the roll rotating direction of the lower blade roll and the closest distance between adjacent suction holes in a roll width direction substantially perpendicular to the roll rotating direction are smaller than a diameter of each the suction hole. The suction region includes first and second inclined regions in which the suction holes are arranged in rows inclined to the roll width direction. The first inclined region is provided on one side of a centre line passing through the centre of the lower blade roll in the roll width direction and the second inclined region is provided on the other side of the centre line, and the rows of suction holes in the first and the second inclined regions both converge toward the centre line in the roll rotating direction of the lower blade roll 40.</p>
