摘要

PURPOSE: A gateway/settop box interacting with a cloud server which processes a high-end video is provided to supply an advanced streamed VOD service to a user without having a resource to a thin client device which does not fully have resources for advanced video process. CONSTITUTION: An STB(Set Top Box) sets up communication with one or more SP(Service Provider) devices(502). The STB sets up communication with one or more serviced client devices(504). The STB transmits advanced video processing commands of the serviced client device to a cloud server(508). The STB receives streamed video contents from the cloud server(510). The STB transmits the streamed video content to the serviced client device(512).
