PURPOSE: A wave power generator using the horizontal motion of waves is provided to make a wave-power resistor absorb only horizontal energy even when the wave-power resistor is shaken. CONSTITUTION: A wave power generator using the horizontal motion of waves comprises a support member(10), a coil spring(30), a wave-power resistor(20), a connecting wire, a winding pulley, a rotary shaft, and a power generator. The connecting wire is fixed to the wave-power resistor, and passes through the inside of the support member. The winding pulley is rotated while the wave-power resistor pulls the connecting wire. The rotary shaft is delivered with torque from the winding pulley. The power generator generates power by the rotary force from the rotary shaft.
