PURPOSE: A plant having improved yield related character, a manufacturing method thereof, and an increase method of plant yield rate are provided to be used for increasing yield rate of plants by controlling expression of plants. CONSTITUTION: An increase method of plant yield rate includes a step of controlling expression of plants at the nucleic acid ciphering one PQQC polypeptide among the protein enumerated in the table 11. The PQQC polypeptide has the sequence number 105(SEQ ID NO: 105). The controlled expression is operated by introduction and expression of nucleic acid ciphering the PQQC polypeptide to the plant. The increased biomass or the increased seed yield is obtained under drought condition or a condition without stress. The increased biomass or the increased seed yield is obtained under a nitrogen deficiency condition. The nucleic acid is connected to a protochlorophyllide reductase promoter as operable. The gene construct comprises nucleic acid ciphering the PQQC polypeptide, one or more regulatory sequences which can induce the expression of the nucleic acid sequence, and a transcription termination sequence.
