PURPOSE: An overturn preventing apparatus for a ship is provided to perfectly prevent air resistance during the sailing of a ship by expanding the volume of buoyant bodies as injecting air to all the buoyant bodies if needed. CONSTITUTION: An overturn preventing apparatus for a ship(10) comprises a side buoyant bodies(100), an upper buoyant body(200), a pump(300), and a switch(400). The side buoyant bodies are respectively attached at a port and a starboard of a ship and reduce the rolling motion of the ship by using buoyancy to prevent the overturn. The upper buoyant body is attached on the top of the ship. If the ship is overturned, the upper buoyant body is returned to the previous position by the buoyancy. The pump generates the buoyancy by injecting air or gas into the side buoyant bodies or the upper buoyant body. The switch controls the pump.
