<p>Inventive methods and apparatus for an optical assembly for a lighting fixture (1OA, 10B) are disclosed. The optical assembly includes a lens (20A 20B) and an optical film (40A, 40B) atop the lens, wherein the optical film (40A, 40B)) extends beyond at least one end of the lens (20A, 20B), thereby minimizing light leaks proximal that end of the lens (20A, 20B). The optical assembly may be implemented in a lighting fixture (I0A, 10B), and such a lighting fixture may be utilized in a modular lighting system (1) and connected end to end with one or more other lighting fixtures.</p> |
