PURPOSE: A nonstep variable transmission for a bicycle having a regenerating device is provided to improve the operation efficiency of a transmission because driving force is generated at a second gear unit by electric energy collected when a bicycle accelerates or descends in a slope. CONSTITUTION: A nonstop variable transmission for a bicycle comprises a first gear unit(20), a hydraulic pressure generating unit(30), a hydraulic braking unit(40), a hydraulic driving unit(50), a second gear unit(60), and a regenerating device(80). The first gear unit is connected to pedals(10) to receive the rotation force of the pedals. The hydraulic pressure generating unit is installed in the downstream of the first gear unit and generates hydraulic pressure with the rotation force of the pedals. The hydraulic braking unit is installed in the downstream of the hydraulic pressure generating unit and opens and closes a path of hydraulic pressure. The hydraulic driving unit is installed in the downstream of the hydraulic braking unit and generates driving force with the hydraulic pressure generating in the hydraulic pressure generating unit. The second gear unit supplies electric energy to a rear wheel of a bicycle by converting the driving force generating in the hydraulic driving unit. The regeneration device is connected to the second gear unit and reuses driving force left after braking of the hydraulic driving unit. |
