HAND-OFF SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR HETEROGENEOUS BASE STATION BASED ON INTERRUPT SIGNAL

PURPOSE: A handoff method for heterogeneous base stations and a handoff system are provided to perform handoff to a heterogeneous base station based on a location and an interference signal in case a signal between on base station and a mobile terminal is abnormal. CONSTITUTION: A BS(Base Station) management system receives GPS(Global Positioning System) location information of a mobile terminal from a first BS through a first BSC(Base Station Controller)(S2). The BS management system extracts a second BS close to the GPS location information from database(S3). The BS management system performs interference signal analysis through a receiving signal of the first and second base stations(S4). The BS management system performs transmission for handoff to the mobile terminal(S5). The BS management system performs handoff from the first base station(S6).
