A retention housing (4) of a ball includes an axial opening (4a) delimited by end parts (5b, 6b) of the branches and radial openings (4b, 4c) delimited by the inner and outer branches and the body. One of the end parts of one of the branches includes a groove (8) arranged to allow deformation of the end part during introduction of the ball into the housing through one of the openings.
