The method involves receiving identification data of user account (UA) associated with access rights on an access equipment i.e. set-top box (STB B) to audiovisual services. A request for transferring the access rights of the user account is sent to a conditional access system (CAS) based on the reception of the identification data of another user account (UB) distinct from the former user account. A response to the transfer request is received and processed, where the response includes activation data to be used for activation of the access rights of the former user account on the equipment. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an access equipment to audiovisual services (2) a conditional access system for communicating with the access equipment (3) a mobile terminal.
