Provided are: a solar cell module having an improved output; and a method that can produce the solar cell module. The solar cell module (1) is provided with a resin layer (13), a solar cell (12), and a wraparound suppression member (20). The resin layer (13) has a colored resin layer (13a) and a transparent resin layer (13b) disposed on the colored resin layer (13a). The solar cell (12) is disposed between the colored resin layer (13a) and the transparent resin layer (13b) in a manner so that the rear surface (12b) of the solar cell (12) faces the colored resin layer (13a) side, and the light-receiving surface (12a) of the solar cell (12) faces the transparent resin layer (13b) side. The wraparound suppression member (20) is disposed between the colored resin layer (13a) and the transparent resin layer (13b) along at least a portion of the outer edge of the solar cell (12).
