<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-contact charging system capable of suppressing an adverse effect of electromagnetic field of a human being or animal when implementing non-contact charging into a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The non-contact charging system wirelessly implements power transmission between a vehicle-side power reception coil 21 mounted on a vehicle 3 and a ground-side power transmission coil 11 mounted on a ground-side charger 10 outside the vehicle to charge electric power from the ground-side charger 10 into a secondary cell 23 of the vehicle 3. The non-contact charging system includes elimination means that eliminates an object to be eliminated including a human being or an animal from a ground-side pad, covering the power transmission coil 11, and its periphery when implementing non-contact charging or at a standby stage before implementing it.
