<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-halogen flame-retardant cable that is excellent in heat resistance, mechanical characteristics, and flame retardancy by silane cross-linking. <P>SOLUTION: A flame-retardant cable includes: an inner layer "x" of a resin composition (A) having polyethylene with density of 900 kg/m<SP POS="POST">3</SP>or more as a base resin component, the inner layer "x" coating the outer periphery of a conductive wire or an optical fiber; a middle layer "y" of a resin composition (B) having ethylene-α-olefin copolymer with density of less than 900 kg/m<SP POS="POST">3</SP>as a base resin component, the middle layer "y" coating the outer periphery of the inner layer "x"; and an outer layer "z" of a specific non-halogen flame retardancy resin composition (C), the outer layer "z" coating the outer periphery of the middle layer "y".
