<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manual preparation information management device and method, and a program capable of supporting preparation and revision of a manual by managing information on the preparation and revision of the manual. <P>SOLUTION: A manual preparation information management device reads manual document data inserted with a management tag indicating a content identifier relating to content of text specified by a model version and the tag, and generates and stores a data table in which the text specified by the management tag corresponds to the version and the content identifier indicated by the management tag.
