<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor and an electrically driven power steering device which improve cooling efficiency of a rotor. <P>SOLUTION: First and second housing holes 71, 72 are separately formed on both axial end parts of a housing 21, and a rotor hole 73, which exhausts air suctioned from one of the first and second housing holes 71, 72 to the other of the first and second housing holes 71, 72, in a rotor core 42 forming a rotor 23.
