<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminate type battery capable of improving a heat dissipation characteristic. <P>SOLUTION: A laminate type battery 10 comprises a generation element 1, a laminate film 4, and an insulation plate 5. The generation element 1 has such a structure that a positive electrode and a negative electrode are laminated via a separator. The laminate film 4 laminates the generation element 1. The laminate film 4 includes a seal part 41, and an electrode housing part 42. The laminate film 4 has a rectangular plane shape, and seal parts 411, 412 are formed on a long side of the rectangle. The seal parts 411, 412 are bent to a side opposite to a projection direction of the electrode housing part 42.
