<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified siloxane polymer composition, an encapsulant obtained from the modified siloxane polymer composition, and an electronic device including the encapsulant. <P>SOLUTION: The composition includes a modified siloxane polymer which is obtained by a reaction between a compound with a cyclic structure, including a cyclic siloxane moiety having at least two Si-O bonds and a substituted or unsubstituted linear siloxane moiety linked to Si of the cyclic siloxane moiety with a 2-10C alkylene group therebetween, and a siloxane polymer with double bonds at both terminals thereof. Furthermore, a curable composition is obtained by adding a curing agent with a hydrogen-silicon bond and a hydrosilylation catalyst to the composition, and the obtained cured product is the encapsulant. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
