<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-up display manufacturing method that enables an inclination angle θ of a holding plate 50 supporting a concave mirror 5 to be correctly set and, after setting it, to prevent both the holding plate 50 and the concave mirror 5 from colliding against a part 1c of a case 1 even if the holding plate 50 is moved by backlash. <P>SOLUTION: The holding plate 50 supporting the concave mirror 5 is driven at a reduced speed by a reduction gear mechanism in an actuator housing 16h, and the inclination angle of the holding plate 50 relative to the case 1 is thereby controlled. After linking a reduced speed output shaft of the reduction gear mechanism to the holding plate 50, the actuator housing 16h is turned in a prescribed direction relative to the reduced speed output shaft (counter-Y4 direction), and the initial inclination angle θ of the holding plate 50 after completion of its fitting to the case 1 is finalized while maintaining a state of absence of backlash of the reduction gear mechanism in the actuator housing 16h. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
