<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of avoiding interference caused by adhesion between a post-processing area and a formed image area without impairing readability of a formed image. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device comprises: image forming means for forming an image on paper; binding means for binding, in a stacked manner, paper after forming the image; detection means for detecting an image end position indicating the end of an image area where the image is formed and a binding end position indicating the end of a binding area formed by the binding means; determination means for determining whether the image end position and the binding end position are overlapped; and control means for keeping a predetermined distance between the binding end position and the image end position if the determination means determines that the image end position and the binding end position are overlapped. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
