<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a lighting device using a lens member 2, which can minimize a position shift between the center of LEDs as a light source 4 and the center of lens sections 2a of the lens member 2. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of manufacturing the lighting device which emits light from the light source 4 through the lens member 2, the lens member 2 for receiving the light from the light source 4 is covered on the light source 4 mounted on a board 3, the lens member 2 is temporarily mounted on the board 3, and the lens member 2 is regularly mounted on the board 3 by press-fitting a crimping tool 9 for thermal crimping into a hollow section 2b1 of a positioning section 2b made of legs of the lens member 2 after setting a relative position relationship between a position of the light source 4 and a position of the lens member 2 by a tool 8 having a light source abutting section 8b abutted on the light source 4 and a lens member abutting section 8a abutted on the lens member 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
