<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric compressor capable of enhancing sealing performance in a mating surface between an opening of a motor housing and an opening of a compressor housing so that sufficient durability and reliability are obtained against harsh use environments. <P>SOLUTION: An annular groove 40 accommodating an O-ring 6 is formed at a mating surface between a flange 3A of a compressor housing 3 and a flange 4A of a motor housing 4. An alumite film 42 by alumite treatment is formed on a bottom surface 40a, a sidewall surface 40b at an inner circumferential side, and a sidewall surface 40c at an outer circumferential side of the annular groove 40, and on a flange surface 41 facing the annular groove 40 in the compressor housing 3. The alumite film 42 is formed by applying alumite treatment after machining the bottom surface 40a and the sidewall surfaces 40b, 40c of the annular groove 40 and the flange surface 41 with predetermined surface roughness. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
