APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING GAS HYDRATE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING GAS HYDRATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for producing a gas hydrate and a method for producing a gas hydrate, capable of producing a high-quality gas hydrate free from bubbles and with a slow decomposition rate.

SOLUTION: The apparatus 1 for producing a gas hydrate includes: a dissolution tank 2 which produces dissolution water wg by dissolving raw material gas g in raw material water w; and a production tank 3 which produces a gas hydrate GH by cooling the dissolution water wg. The dissolution tank 2 includes: a housing 10 which has an atmosphere of the raw material gas through delivery of the raw material gas g; a circulation path 4 of the dissolution water through which liquid in the housing 10 is circulated by taking the liquid in the housing 10 from the bottom part thereof and redelivering the liquid from the upper part; and a temperature controlling device which controls the temperature in the housing 10 to temperature conditions higher than the temperature at which the gas hydrate is produced. The temperature controlling device controls the cooling of the dissolution water wg produced in the dissolution tank 2 to the temperature in the conditions for producing the gas hydrate in the production tank 3.
