<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet printer that prevents recovered ink from foaming and leaking out and prevents ink from overflowing from a suction/exhaust port of a tank. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet printer 1 includes an ink tank 2, a print head 3, and an ink recovering means 4 for recovering ink not used for printing. The ink recovering means 4 includes a front receiving tank 44, a mist jetting mechanism 6 for reducing foaming of ink, and a connecting pipe 12. The mist jetting mechanism 6 includes a gas supply device 7, an injection nozzle 61 for jetting the recovered ink Kf and gas toward an inner peripheral wall face of the front receiving tank 44 or the liquid level of ink in a mist form, a gas outlet 71, and a suction-side conduit 72 for connecting the gas outlet 71 with the gas suction-side of the gas supply device 7.
