An actuator is provided with: a first member that comprises a means for generating magnetomotive force, and that is heated to at least a first temperature; a second member that is arranged in opposition to the first member; a temperature-sensitive magnetic material that is positioned between the first member and the second member, changes the position thereof between a first position, where the temperature-sensitive magnetic material comes in contact with the first member, and a second position, where the temperature-sensitive magnetic material comes in contact with the second member, and that has a Curie temperature that is lower than the first temperature and higher than the temperature of the second member; and a restoring means for returning the temperature-sensitive magnetic material from the first position to the second position.
