A composition comprising an oil phase, wherein the oil phase comprises: a) 2-10%wt of particles of an elastomeric polymer; b) a swelling agent for the elastomeric polymer, and; c) 1-10%wt of a thickener comprising flocculated particles, said particles having a surface area in excess of 100m2/gram, as measured by the BET method using nitrogen adsorption; wherein the ratio of the shear stress (s) of the composition measured at 316s-1 to the shear stress measured at 0.1 s-1 is such that: Log 10 (s316s -1 / s 0.1s -1 ) = 0.64 + (0.4 x internal phase volume) where internal phase volume = internal phase volume%/100%.
