<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce interruptions of power feeding to a load device as much as possible, and to simplify the surroundings of connectors in an uninterruptible power supply apparatus which consists of a power distribution unit and a backup unit which can be attached to and detached from each other by the connectors. <P>SOLUTION: The uninterruptible power supply apparatus has a maintenance bypass unit 10 and an inverter unit 20 which can be attached to and detached from each other by connectors 12 and 21. Power is supplied to a load apparatus 40 from a commercial power supply 30 when the commercial power supply 30 is in a normal state, and from a storage battery 25 via a bidirectional inverter 24 when the commercial power supply 30 is in an abnormal state. When a bypass breaker 14 in the maintenance bypass unit 10 is turned on, operations such as replacement of electronic components in the inverter unit 20 can be performed without interrupting power feeding to the load apparatus 40 with the inverter unit 20 detached from the maintenance bypass unit 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
