<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic display device that can achieve stereoscopic vision display at a wide viewing angle. <P>SOLUTION: A display device includes a display part for displaying an image and a liquid crystal barrier part including a plurality of liquid crystal barriers formed extending in a first direction tilting from a vertical direction Y in a display screen of the display part. The liquid crystal barrier part includes a liquid crystal layer, and first electrodes (transparent electrodes 110 and 120) and a second electrode formed having the liquid crystal layer interposed therebetween at positions corresponding to the liquid crystal barriers.
