<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply device capable of effectively utilizing fuel while enabling reduction of material cost and weight of the device. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel supply device includes a fuel pump arranged in a fuel tank to pump fuel in the fuel tank and to pressure-feed it to an internal combustion engine, a holder part attached to a wall surface of the fuel tank and having an upper cup enclosing the fuel pump, and a bottomed tubular resin-made lower cup 20 attached to the upper cup to support the fuel pump from the lower side. At a connection part of a bottom wall 20b and the circumferential wall 20a of the lower cup 20, a pedestal part 65 with the lower end circumferential edge of the fuel pump mounted thereon is formed. The bottom wall 20b of the lower cup 20 is formed with an opening 57 capable of discharging fuel in the lower cup 20 to the outside. An inner surface of the circumferential wall 20a of the lower cup 20 is formed with a fuel guide groove 66 along the vertical direction, and the fuel guide groove 66 is formed to communicate with the opening 57 via the pedestal part 65. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
