<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desiccant type ventilation fan enabling workers to replace a filter without touching insects. <P>SOLUTION: The desiccant type ventilation fan 10 includes an air supply passage 11 for taking in outdoor air inside a room and an air exhaust passage 12 for exhausting indoor air within a casing 13, and desiccant rotors 14 and 15 for moving moisture from a side of a high relative humidity to a side of a low relative humidity of the air supply passage 11 and the air exhaust passage 12. In the air supply passage 11, a dust collecting filter 30 is arranged in an upper stream side of the desiccant rotors 14 and 15 along a flow of the outdoor air, and an insect collecting filter 31 provided with a bag body 35 having an opening part 34 is arranged in a further upper stream side of the dust collecting filter 30.
